At first, I have to admit, I did not like the taste. I could only take it with juice or soy milk- another one of his introductions. Over time, I got used to the taste and could take it with water, which is what is recommended.
After some time of starting my regimen, maybe a couple of months or so, I began to notice some changes in my body. For one, I no longer suffered from the agony of dysmenorrhea. Yaaaay! No more cramping during my period! Another wonderful thing that occurred is that I had more energy and I felt better overall.
So, my husband was leading me right after all. Thanks honey! At first, all I could think about is that greeny, unfamiliar taste, uggh. But, I guess my taste buds got used to the spirulina, broccoli and all the other superfoods in the mix. My kids got to the point that every morning, when they saw their papi taking his daily dose of greens today in the kitchen, they would ask for their portion too. Of course he acted like it was the tastiest thing in the world to get them to first take it....
My husband tells everyone he can about greens today. Everyone who tries it, has said that he/she can tell a difference after taking it. His mother said that when she runs out of it, she can tell that her energy level decreases.
